Linux requirements and Steam Deck
The Linux listing repeats Steam Windows hardware requirements, including its Intel model label. The source difference noted above applies to that listing too. Its minimum OS entry is most modern 64-bit Linux distributions; the recommended entry names Ubuntu 26.04 64-bit.
A Linux listing or controller support does not establish Steam Deck compatibility. Check the Steam listing for an explicit Deck rating rather than inferring one from the operating system.

Run a controlled performance test
- Record CPU, GPU, RAM, operating system, driver version, resolution, and current game build.
- Choose one repeatable location and camera direction with visible environment detail.
- Test the default API first, then DX12 or Vulkan only if available in your current client.
- Change one of DLSS, FSR, XeSS, dynamic resolution, or frame generation at a time.
- Record frame rate, frame-time stability, visual artifacts, and crashes before choosing the final setting.
Match the symptom to the next test
The average frame rate is high but movement stutters.Compare frame-time consistency and disable one scaling or frame-generation feature at a time.
A new API performs worse.Return to the previous API, keep the same scene, and record the driver and build before reporting the regression.
Raid loading or texture streaming is slow.Confirm the game is on an SSD with free space and close memory-heavy background applications.
