Loot Guide

Keep items needed for objectives, new recipe unlocks, and the Chronotraces your blueprints need. Spare equipment can be more useful than its Credit value. When the backpack fills up, compare what each item helps you do after extraction.

At a glance

  • Keep objective items first and confirm the tracker before replacing them with higher-rarity loot.
  • Extracting an item can unlock its fusion and replication recipes, so the first copy may be worth more than its sale price.
  • When full, compare mission value, recipe value, needed Chronotrace type, space used, and extraction risk.

Use this pickup order

1. Objective
Required item or interaction toolKeep it until the objective tracker confirms the step.
2. First extract
Item with an unlearned recipeOne extraction can open a repeatable fusion or replication route.
3. Resource gap
Item that refines into a needed traceTarget Metal, Composite, Fiber, Chemicals, Energy, or Idea for the blueprint you are charging.
4. Raid utility
Healing, armor, ammunition, or a usable weaponImmediate survival value can beat store value when extraction is far away.
5. Generic value
Credits per slot after riskOptimize this only after the first four needs are covered.

What to keep when your backpack is full

  1. Keep your objective items and the supplies you need to reach extraction.
  2. Keep items that unlock new recipes or supply the Chronotrace types your chosen blueprint needs.
  3. Drop bulky generic items before compact items with the same purpose.
  4. Check distance and time before entering one more room or rare-resource zone.
  5. If the new item does not beat anything already carried, leave it and move toward extraction.

When to head for extraction

These are reasons to consider leaving, not a scoring rule. If time or essential supplies are already insufficient for a cautious return, head toward extraction without waiting for another condition.

  • The objective is complete or a new recipe item is secured.
  • You cannot survive one ordinary fight without using the last of a core resource.
  • The route ahead is unknown but the route behind is clear.
  • Most of the backpack is mission, recipe, or resource-gap loot.
  • The remaining time no longer supports a detour and a cautious return.
