At a glance

  • Extract one copy of an item to unlock its available fusion and replication recipes.
  • Charge a replication blueprint with the required mix of six Chronotrace types, then place it in a normal production queue.
  • Use the dedicated Fusion slot for component recipes. Fusion no longer consumes a normal replication queue slot.

Replication and Fusion compared

Open Workshop, then Replicator. Replication and Fusion share learned recipes, but use different resources and production slots.

An extracted item unlocks available recipes. Replication uses Chronotraces and a normal queue; Fusion uses exact components and a dedicated slot.

Process diagram: both paths start with a learned recipe, but they use different inputs and slots. Fusion leaves the normal replication queue free.

Replication workflow

  1. Extract the target item at least once so its recipe appears in the Replicator.
  2. In Workshop > Replicator, open the blueprint and read each Chronotrace requirement before spending resources.
  3. Add Metal, Composite, Fiber, Chemicals, Energy, and Idea traces until the blueprint is fully charged.
  4. Place the charged blueprint in a replication queue and confirm the production time.
  5. Collect the item when complete. Refill the replication limit before the blueprint reaches zero remaining copies.

Fusion workflow

  1. Open Workshop > Replicator and select the dedicated Fusion slot.
  2. Choose a learned recipe and inspect the exact component names. Similar-looking books, parts, or objects are not substitutes.
  3. Move every required component into the recipe and confirm the Active Matter cost.
  4. Start Fusion, collect the result, and verify it entered storage before leaving the screen.

Missing recipes and production problems

The recipe is missing.Extract the item or complete the Investigation that grants the recipe, then reopen the Replicator search.

The blueprint is visible but locked.Open its resource detail and charge every required Chronotrace category.

Replication is charged but unavailable.Check the remaining replication count, queue capacity, and any Monolith or cycle access condition.

Fusion rejects a component.Match the exact item name shown by the recipe. A generic item of the same type does not count.
