PvE Guide

Choose Isolated Raids to play PvE alone or with friends. You still face monsters, anomalies, time limits, equipment loss, and extraction. You can use this mode for progression or practice; moving on to Open raids is optional.

At a glance

  • Isolated supports solo and co-op PvE. Purchased editions have unlimited Isolated access; Premium is not required for unlimited runs.
  • Investigations and story contracts can be completed in PvE, according to the community manager. Read each task description for any specific conditions.
  • For a first PvE run, choose one objective and keep enough supplies to reach extraction.

An optional three-raid practice plan

This is a suggested learning routine. You can keep playing Isolated for PvE; switching to Open is optional.

  1. Raid one: travel from spawn to one extraction using large landmarks. Ignore optional loot rooms.
  2. Raid two: repeat the route and identify each monster or anomaly before engaging it.
  3. Raid three: add one Investigation or Operative Objective and confirm the tracker at every step.

Use a specific response for each threat

Seeds
Avoid the trigger radiusIf triggered, create distance. Shoot only when the route cannot bypass them.
Swarm
Move under coverTry moving inside or under solid cover. Check the Notes entry before deciding whether you need to destroy the hive.
Invisible
Stop in open ground and prepareWait for the close reveal with a clear firing lane. Do not back into vegetation.
Fireball
Keep lateral spaceDo not let a slow approach trap you against a wall or vehicle.
Gravity anomaly
Read the distortion before entryEnter only after identifying where the changed gravity will place your exit.

If you want to try Open raids

  • You can identify the spawn area and the direction of extraction.
  • You can reach the objective without opening the map at every junction.
  • You know which encounters can be bypassed and which block the route.
  • You finish with one magazine, healing capacity, and intact enough armor for a final contact.
  • You can explain the abort condition before deployment.
